Your name, @lehigh.edu email and phone number. The people you pick (see below), your match results, and which friend’s link you joined with. If you turn on notifications, we also keep a technical address for that device so we can send them. We do not collect photos or profile details.
We never tell anyone who you picked. If a pick isn't mutual, the other person is never told. We do not keep a readable list of who likes whom: the name and email you enter for someone you pick are turned into one-way scrambled fingerprints that are only used to check for a mutual pick. We never tell you whether someone you pick is a member, and nobody can look anyone up.
If you choose to send an anonymous note, we use the email you type to send one short message saying someone connected with them, plus a short hint if the sender wrote one (we do not save the hint). It never says who it's from. We keep a scrambled fingerprint of that address so we only ever email it once, and we stop if they unsubscribe.
If two people pick each other, they get a match that lasts 48 hours, and then it is removed from the app. Your phone number is shown to your match only if both of you choose to swap numbers, and only while the match is open. If you block someone, we keep their name so you can see and undo the block; only you can see that list, and it is deleted with your account.
To verify you are a Lehigh student, run the matching, email you sign-in codes and match alerts, and, only if both people agree, let matched users swap phone numbers.
Sign-in codes are required to use the app. Match alerts and anonymous notes include an unsubscribe link, and we honor it right away.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. We use service providers (such as hosting, sign-in and email providers) only to operate Campus Crush.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. Only our server can read the database; nothing is open to the public. We keep your data while your account is active.
You can delete your account at any time with the "Delete my account" button in the app. That permanently removes your profile, your picks, your matches and your sign-in. You can also email us to ask what we hold about you.
Campus Crush is only for people 18 or older. If we learn that someone under 18 has signed up, we will delete the account.
Campus Crush is an independent student project. It is not run, endorsed or supported by Lehigh University.
